I cannot stop watching this video! It’s a remastered recording of a live show performed by Abney Park, the famous steampunk musicians. The title of this song is Sleep Isabella.
Watching the two girls spin around and around did make me a little dizzy, lol. But I’m blown away by the sound, the fashion, the gadgets and lights, the dancing — it’s all so incredible. What a show!
The League of STEAM put together this funny short steampunk video for St. Patrick’s Day. They travel to Ireland and try to catch a leprechaun. Naturally, they get more than they bargained for, and hilarity ensues.
I just love all of the gadgets and props, very fun stuff!
What a cool steampunk dog costume! This is probably my favorite photo to come out of the Nova Albion Steampunk Exhibition, which took place last weekend in Emeryville, California.
What a patient pup, to put up with those goggles. Very cool!
Steampunk enthusiast, Sangdrax, just posted a video of his monocle project. Very cool, such amazing details. Plus, the gears are battery powered, how cool is that?
He’s putting these together for an upcoming con. Great work. Man, I want one!
This group is also sponsoring a steampunk film festival in San Francisco, on Wednesday, March 10, 2010. If you live in the Bay area, be sure to check it out.
Donations go to charity, and all attendees are encouraged to come in costume. Doesn’t this sound great?
Come in costume! Absinthe cocktails at the bar, with an absinthe-flavored giveaway before the movies!!

Well, this is interesting: Commercial steampunk costume kits! Looks like the mainstream is catching up with the steampunk sub-culture. Costume Craze has added these kits to their online catalog.
The men’s costume includes the bowler style hat, monocle and Victorian style mustache, and the ladies kit includes the small Victorian style hat, glasses and choker.
Not bad for a quick and easy costume! I have a feeling these kits will sell quite well this year.
Here’s a fun short story put together by the Calgary Steampunks. They got together at Heritage Park for International Steampunk Day 2009 and made a fake news reel.
A self balancing, human powered, steampunk styled, Segway. All you need is a brave self balancing human. This is the ultimate green vehicle for all you eco conscious steampunkers. Is that an oxymoron? I made this out of mostly found materials. This was my first steampunk styled build.
Here’s a funny video brought to you by the League of Steam. There’s just something special about Zombie’s tea, lol.
This is a wonderfully entertaining steampunk webseries that everyone should check out. I love their costumes, and the production quality of their videos is superb.
